Ingredients
- Moong dal (without skin & split) – 1 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for frying
- Clean cloth for drying soaked dal

Wash and soak the dal for at least 4 hours. Drain all the water. Place the dal in a dry cloth and pat dry. Heat oil in a deep vessel and add the dal to deep fry on medium hot oil. Cook till dal starts to get a light colour. Strain and remove the dal. Allow it to cool a little. Sprinkle salt and serve. |
