(optional) 1 small (peeled & grated) Radish

1cup (finely chopped) Radish leaves

4 cups Maize Flour (makki ka atta)

1 no Green chilli chopped

as required Water

Add ½ tsp salt to the radish and leave aside for 5 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water from the grated radish. |

In a bowl, add flour, a pinch of salt, grated radish, radish leaves, and green chili. Add little water to make a dough. Divide the same into 4 equal-sized balls. |

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll out into discs (½ cm approx), alternatively place a plastic film/sheet on the kitchen table and lightly oil it. Place the dough and cover it with another oiled plastic film and flatten it out using your hands. |

Remove the film and carefully place it on a hot griddle or a pan and cook the roti on both sides using ghee. Serve hot. |
