¾ tsp Black salt

Directions
Phalsa or Falsa is a hindi term and known as Grewia asiatica in english, is a species.A rare fruit was first found in India Varanasi, then was taken to other countries. This is a kind of acidic fruit used as cooling agent which can be eaten raw or the sharbet is prepared from the fruit pulp by mixing it with sugar.

Wash the phalsa berry in cold water and remove any twigs. Add sugar, salt, black salt and pepper powder. Now squish the berries with either your hands or using a potato masher. Make it pulpy and then leave it in the sun for 1hour. |

Now press and squeeze again to remove pulp from the seeds. Add chilled water and squish the berries again. Strain the juice and press the remaining seeds and pulp against the sieve. Discard the seeds and pour the juice into glasses and serve. Consume the sharbat with a day. |
