For CrumbingHeat oil in a deep vessel or a kadai to medium hot. Dip the onion rings in the batter and then place it over the dried bread crumbs. Press firmly to make sure the bread crumbs stick to the onions. Now add the breaded onions to the hot oil and fry till golden brown and crispy. Remove to a plate with an absorbent paper to absorb excess oil. Repeat the same with the remaining onion rings. Serve hot. There may be a chance that some of the batter will slip off the onions after coating them with bread crumbs, in this case simply dip them again in the batter and crumb again and fry them |
