Aam Panna Popsicle
Ingredients
Raw mangoes (कच्चा आम) – 500 gms
Water (पानी) – 500 ml
Sugar (चीनी) – 1¼ cup
Salt (नमक) – ½ tsp
Black Salt (काला नमक) – ½ tsp
Peppercorns (काली मिर्च) – 6 nos
Roasted Cumin (भुना जीरा) – ¾ tbsp
Chilli Powder (मिर्ची पाउडर) – ½ tsp
Mint leaves (पुदीना पत्ता) – 2 cups
Green Food Colour (हरा रंग) – a drop (optional)

To prepare Aam Panna Popsicles, start by washing and peeling the raw mangoes. Cut them into chunks and remove the seeds. In a pressure cooker, combine the mango chunks with water, sugar, and cook it till 2 to 3 whistles or until the mangoes are soft and tender. Once the mangoes are cooked, allow the mixture to cool. Then, transfer it to a blender along with salt, black salt, peppercorns, roasted cumin, chilli powder, and mint leaves. Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined. If desired, add a drop of green food color for a vibrant hue (optional). |

Pour the blended Aam Panna mixture into popsicle moulds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Insert popsicle sticks into each mould. Place the popsicle moulds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid. Once the Aam Panna Popsicles are frozen, remove them from the moulds by running warm water over the outside of the moulds for a few seconds. Gently pull on the sticks to release the popsicles. |
