- Rice Flour – 2 cup
- Heeng – 1/2 tsp
- Ajwain – 1tbsp
- Black pepper crushed -2tsp
- Water – 400ml
- Gram Flour – 1 cup
- Oil – 60ml
- Red chilly powder – 1tsp
- Salt – to taste

In a bowl mix both the flours. Add salt, red chilly, black pepper, heeng, and ajwain. Pour oil and mix with a light hand. Now add water and make into a dough. Do not over knead the dough. Do not knead a stiff dough. Heat oil in a Kadai till medium hot. |

Now place the dough in the chakli press and in quick round motion and make chaklis on an oiled surface. Carefully pick the chakli and deep fry till crisp. |

Once u have mastered the chakli you can also directly shape the chakli in the Kadai. |
