Directions
A quick, easy and light potato dish. Potatoes boiled and sautéed golden with turmeric, jeera and onions. Aloo Jeera is an easy and quick recipe which is just perfect for a lunch menu.

Recipe 1Heat ghee and add jeera. Once it pops add chopped ginger and chopped green chilly. Saute for a minute and add boiled & diced potatoes. Sprinkle salt, turmeric, chilly powder and dry mango powder(amchur). Toss & cook for 2minutes. Sprinkle chopped coriander, toss & remove. Serve hot. |

Recipe 2Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin. Stir for few seconds and add green chillies and ginger and stir for a minute. Now add onions and saute for another minute. Sprinkle turmeric & chilli powder and give a quick stir. Add tomatoes and cook on high heat for 3mins. Add potatoes along with salt and toss them together. Cook for 5mins and then sprinkle with chopped coriander. Add some amchur powder, toss and remove. Serve hot with Indian breads. |
