Gur Makhana Ladoo
(Mixture weight- 800gms, makes – 16nos)
Ingredients
Fox Nuts/Makhana (मखाना) – 100 grams (6½ cups)
Cashew (काजू) – ¾ cup
Almonds (बादाम) – ¾ cup
Fennel seeds (सौंफ़)- 1 tbsp
Cardamom (इलाइची) – 5-6 nos
Black cardamom seeds (काली इलाइची का दाना) – ½ tsp
Sesame seeds (तिल) – 2 tbsp
Dry dessicated coconut (सूखा नारियल बुरादा) – ½ cup
Raisins (किशमिश) – handful
Ghee (घी) – 3 tbsp
Dry ginger powder (सौंठ) – 2 tsp
For Syrup
Jaggery (गुड़) – 1½ cup (300gms)
Water (पानी) – ½ cup

To begin, dry roast the makhana in a deep kadhai, ensuring it does not turn brown. Once roasted, allow it to cool and then grind it into a powder. |

Next, in a separate pan, add jaggery and water, bringing the mixture to a single boil. Turn off the heat and remove any scum that forms on top of the syrup. |
