Directions
Misal Pav is awarded as world’s tastiest vegetarian dish. It is originated in Maharashtra India and can be served in different varieties. In Misal Pav, misal are made of a spicy curry usually made from moth beans

Begin by heating oil in a deep vessel over medium heat and in hing, give it a stir and add in the sliced onions. Fry the onions till they begin to become brown and add in the sliced tomatoes. |

Cook for about 3-4 minutes and add in the turmeric and kashmiri chilli powder. Give it a stir and add in the ground powdered masala. |

Give a nice stir, lower the flame, and cook for about 5 minutes. |

Take it off heat and once it is cooled, add it to the mixer grinder and grind it to a fine paste. |

For finishingHeat a pan over medium heat, add in the wet masala. Add in the boiled sprouts and stir. Finally add in the cooking water. |

Cook the masala till the oil begins to leave and flot over the curry. Adjust salt and add in the jaggery. Adjust the consistency with the water. Cook for 5 min with the lid on before finishing the dish. |

For toppingTransfer the missal from above into the serving container. |

Before serving top the missal with phalahari mixture, chopped onions and coriander and a squeeze of lemon. |

Finish with a spoonful pour of the oil floating over the curry and serve hot along with pav. |
