Ingredients

  • Boneless lamb boti – 500gms
  • oil – 200ml
  • Ginger paste – 50 gms
  • Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder – 1tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Peppercorn – 10 nos
  • Onion chopped – 1 1/2 cup
  • Garlic paste – 50gms
  • Coriander powder -2 tbsp
  • Garam masala -1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped – 2 cups

    Heat oil in a thick bottom pan and add pepper corn to it. Then add chopped onions. Saute till light brown, now add the ginger and garlic paste mixed with little water.

    Add turmeric, red chilly and coriander powder. Cook till oil surfaces. Now add the mutton, sprinkle salt and bhuno till 3/4 done.

    Now add chopped tomatoes and bhuno for another 10 mins. Water sufficient water and let it simmer till it is done.

    The mutton rassa is a thin curry with oil floating on top. It is best had with pao.
