Oats & Honey Patishapta
Ingredients
For Batter
Saffola Oats (ओट्स) – 1 cup
Semolina (सूजी) – 3 tbsp
Salt – a pinch
Milk – 1½ cup
Saffola Honey Activ (शहद) – 1 tsp
Ghee – for basting
Stuffing
Milk – 1 litre
Saffola Oats, powdered (ओट्स आटा) – 2-3 tbsp
Saffola Honey Activ (शहद) – 3 tbsp

In a blender, add Saffola Oats and grind it into oats flour. In a bowl, add the oats flour, semolina, a pinch of salt, milk, and Saffola Honey Activ. Whisk the batter. Let it rest for about 15-20 minutes. In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring 1 litre of milk to a boil. Reduce it to ¼ of the actual quantity. Add powdered Saffola Oats to the boiling milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens to a kheer-like consistency. Add Saffola Honey Activ to the thickened milk mixture. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Let it cool down. |

Heat a non-stick pan or a flat griddle. Pour a ladle full of batter into the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin crepe. You can brush a little ghee on it. Cook until the edges start to lift, and the bottom is golden brown. Place a spoonful of the prepared stuffing along one edge of each crepe. Roll the crepe to enclose the stuffing, forming a cylindrical shape. Repeat the process for all the crepes. Patishapta is ready to be enjoyed. |
