- Paneer – 250 gms
- Besan – 4 tbsp
- Turmeric – 3 tsp
- Chilly flakes – 3 tsp
- Yellow chilly powder – 2 tsp
- Black pepper – 1tsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Lemon – 1no
- Garlic chopped – 2 tbsp
- Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
- Ginger paste – 2 tsp
- Wooden skewers -12 nos

Cut paneer into batons of 3 inch long. Sprinkle salt, half the turmeric, ginger and garlic paste. Keep aside in a warm place for half hour. Drain the water and keep aside. |

Heat oil and add besan to it. Cook on a very low heat till besan lightly browns. Remove from fire, add the turmeric and let it cool. |

Now in this besan squeeze lemon, add salt, chilly flakes, chopped garlic, yellow chilly powder and black pepper. |

Marinate the paneer in this marinade, skewer them and keep aside for 15 mins. |

Heat a pan and drizzle oil, now cook the paneer on all sides till it browns. Once done sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot with a fresh salad. |
